Chitignano (2 km) – the local village
Chitignano is the local village. There is a grocery, drugstore, bank and minibank, bar, some restaurants, tennis court, football and everything is within a walking distance from La Tornaia. You may walk to Chitignano by walking up the forest road until you come to a farm road. Turn right and follow the gravel road until you are in the village. This is Chitignano, and you use roughly 10-15 minutes to get there. By car it is even faster, see the map below for directions.
